Project Overview

An Auckland law firm serving individuals and small businesses, with a website that didn't.

FL Legal is an Auckland-based legal practice providing practical, clear legal advice to individuals and small businesses. The firm had strong client relationships and a growing reputation, but their website was working against them, not for them.

The existing site looked dated, communicated services unclearly, and made it difficult for prospective clients to understand what the firm handled or how to enquire. In a sector where trust is established before first contact, first impressions matter enormously.

The Challenge

Potential clients couldn't tell what the firm did or how to contact them.

Legal clients are making high-stakes decisions. A person searching for help with an employment matter, a property dispute, or a commercial contract is under stress, and they're looking for a firm that communicates competence and clarity within the first few seconds of landing on your website.

The old FL Legal site had thin content, unclear navigation, and no distinct practice-area pages. The contact option was a single email address, and the mobile experience was inconsistent. The site did not give search engines or prospective clients enough structured information about the firm’s services.

What We Built

A trusted legal website rebuilt for clarity and conversion.

We rebuilt the information architecture from scratch, dedicated practice area pages written in plain English for the person in each situation, solicitor profiles with credentials and areas of focus, and a structured enquiry form that captures matter type and brief description before the first call.

The visual system uses a calm, authoritative palette with strong contrast and professional typography. LegalService schema markup was applied across practice-area pages, while the rebuilt front end reduced unnecessary complexity and improved the mobile experience.

The Results

A more credible and useful first point of contact.

The finished website gives prospective clients a clear view of the firm’s services and people before they make contact. Its structured form collects the matter type and initial details, helping the firm prepare for the first conversation.
